The Luxurious Marble Circus truly is an event like no other. Every aspect of the festival is meticulously and intentionally curated to offer an Out of the Ordinary experience. From the way our dazzling dishes are served, to how brands creatively collaborate, to all the details of our whimsical world, including spectacular staging and design, everything is done
with purpose.

With Investec as an impassioned enabler of our purpose, The Luxurious Marble Circus seeks to meaningfully create an impact in the realm in which it operates, be it hospitality, food, the arts, fashion or the creative and production industry. Each collaborator of the festival sees themselves as a catalyst and driver of truly leaving a legacy beyond luxury.

2024 was the beginning of our purpose journey and over half a million Rand was invested into legacy and donated to our brilliant beneficiary partners, including Holanathi, The National School of the Arts and Marang House. This funding empowered the distribution of nutritious meals to over 2000 children, supported flourishing talent at one of our iconic arts institutions and inspired hope for children battling serious illness.

Curated initiatives were also implemented to give back to the creative community, which included having up-and-coming talent perform during The Luxurious Marble Circus as well as opportunities for skills development and job creation. In addition, intentional sustainability practices were put into place to proactively reduce and measure the festival’s carbon footprint. 
The Luxurious Marble Circus partnered with Yellowtree, a carbon accounting company, to conduct the first-ever independent sustainability audit and set a benchmark 
for current and future events.

17 tonnes of waste was collected and 51% of all cans, plastic, glass, cardboard and paper were recycled, preventing over 8.6 tons of waste from ending up in a landfill.

With a donation of over half a million Rand, we helped feed 2000 children, support Marang House and National School of the Arts.

We partnered with National School of the Arts to provide an opportunity for learners to showcase their talent at
our event.

Our sustainability efforts collectively saved 49 tonnes
of CO2 emissions. The equivalent 

to planting over
2000 trees.

As The Luxurious Marble Circus and Investec build on a foundation of purpose, the aim is to extend beyond what is expected. Together we mean to create a butterfly effect of intention. Our aim for 2025 is to triple our efforts in both contribution and sustainability. By joining hands with our partners, artists and suppliers in purpose-driven outputs, we subscribe to the commitment of influencing and inspiring the South African festival industry through intentionality and, ultimately, to leaving a legacy beyond luxury.
